Awesome turtle setup...you've set a great example for people who wonder about how deep the water should be and how much space they need...:)

thanks maggie.I try.I really love my girls and want the best for them.And let me tell ya, a 300 gallon tank ain't cheap,but my babies are worth every penny spent on them.I have spent alot on them. For every person who thinks turtles are cheap easy pets, i'm here to tell ya how wrong you are.They are the best pets i've ever owned,but they're a lotta work.

wow! Awesome! What do you use to filter such a big tank? Also, how do you prevent hardwater/calcium stains on the glass?

I filter it using 3 filstar xp3's and keep the glass wiped clean as often as possible, vinegar works great for removing the hardwater stains though:)
