Photo is not doctored - they really look like that.
I've found several of the anerythristic looking ones, but only one of the other. Most that I find are just nice, normals.
Location - about an hour N.E. of Dallas.

Wow...that's an awesome photo. Now, assuming the coloration isn't doctored in any way, what is going on with those colors?? One looks very much anery, the other almost amel. Wish I could find some that looked like that around here.

Those are amazing!!! The one one the left looks anerythristic.


I have a copperhead that lives outside my office window in a stone wall. I'm watching it basking right now! It's probably been there for years and I just noticed it yesterday! Very cool snakes.
