What a beautiful cat you have! My father always says "but cats don't do that" when my cat lies in this pose - a running joke... It's too bad we can't attain such complete relaxation! All they can do is lead by example :-)

They lie like that so you'll be tempted to rub their tummy...then they can sink all four sets of claws into you! (At least, that's why my cat does it.) I have a pic of my cat in a very similar pose in my member gallery. I call it her "Glamour Shot."

Check out Bubbles' Glamour Shot -- I posted it under this category a minute ago. Compare your svelte little kitty with my rather sizable cat...and that's only about 6 months after the pic where she's smaller than the remote control. Once she got over her illness, she GREW quickly!
