Beginning a Waterfall/Pond

Here I have started with a 1'x1' pond liner that I am shaping to the desired form for a waterfall and pond. As you can see, I have set up a tiered false bottom so that I don't have to build up my substrate to add height to the waterfall and tank. I add rocks where I think they will look good, and to hold the liner in place while i manipulate it to where I want. If you soak it in warm water first, it's much easier to work with.
