This is a cage I built for my GTP. (Thanks Alex Hue for this wonderful snake!!!) 3/4" Birch lined w/ Bituthene for Vapor Barrier / Cork Bark from BlackJungle.com / 3' UV Lighting / Fogger going all the time to maintain high humidity / Sliding glass doors.

hey i got my ball python from alex hue. He is reliable so if anyone is ever looking for good snakes i would check him out./That snake looks tiny in that big tank.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I realize this is a HUGE tank for such a little snake, but this is the centerpiece of my office and I figure he will grow into it in a couple years!
Does anyone have any recommendations on viney plants to put in my terrarium???? Also, I am looking for recommedations on ways to increase my humidity. I am having a hard time getting the humidity >75-80%.

Very nice cage. Why keep an awesome snake in a dinky plastic container when you could do something like that? Its just awesome.
Two good vining plants that could cover your background in a few months are Creeping fig - ficus pumilia and Pothos. Talk to you later,

That is a great looking enclosure. He has alot of room to grow. I would like to see more pics of it if you have any.

You could do daily mists to raise the himidity. Also live plants will raise it. If that does not work you can always get a small humidifier and hide it behind a piece of cork bark or a plant.

I can't see from the photo how the cage is vented but you could try covering the vents more to increase humidity. Also It looks like you use some sort of bark chips for the substrate, cypress mulch will hold more humidity if sprayed sometimes. A larger waterbowl could help too.
The is one of the sweetest arboreal cages I have ever seen and I think I'm gong to build some just like it!
