Winterstone is a powdered product that mixes with water and molds like clay. It dries rock hard, though it must be sealed to be absolutely water-proof. It can be colored with powdered tints or painted later. Try: compleatsculptor.com or search Winterstone. There are four listed. dealers, 2 in the US, one in Canada and one in Australia. It's great stuff.

What do you use to seal it with? Can you get it at a hardware store or craft store? Thanks...

I am currently using Jasco "Cure-Seal" as it is water based and the least toxic. However, you still want to run water over it after 48 hours and make several water changes before introducing plants or animals. I have also tried Seal-all (an achrylic art sealer), but this peels off like latex, and Thompsons Water-Seal, which is petrolum based. This latter, even after a long cure time was like cleaning up after an oil spill and took weeks to "detoxify" for vivarium use.
