I have been told I am a yellow bellied slider, a map and a cooter, can you help and ID me correctly..

It's a Red Eared Slider. It just has a very faint red marking, it could possibly me a mix between a Yellow Bellied and a Red Eared Slider...

Yeah its a RES. Not all RES have red ears, they come in all colors red, orange, yellow, and any color in between. Some also have no coloration in that area.

this is probally a yellow belly there are no spots on the belly, possiable as someone else said a intergrade, check sripes on back legs, if they are vertical unbroken , yellow belly . if not intergrade

I garentee you that its not a Yellow Belley. I have one myself, and my YBS has spots on her plastron. PLus YBS have more of a yellow blochy appearence. RES have more of a thick line, like in the pic. Im 99% sure its a RES

most yellow do not have spots, some do , very few, we handle about 25,000 yellow adults per year, maybe 250 with spots stripe are the only way to tellfor sure
