That's a sweet little moccasin. It's obviously still a young'un, but you're Eastern variety still retains alot more color than the Western ones we have here in TX.....The ones here mostly look like someone threw a spare tube from a bicycle tire into the pond. Very dull coloration. Same temperament, though.

Yeah, he has pics of a ball python uploaded so obviously he has at least one snake. But he shoots cottonmouths. That makes alot of sense. Usually people that kill snakes are afraid of them. That excuse doesn't work so he must just be some ignorant hick.

Yep. I've known (and still know) people like that, who would rather get their shotgun out and blast something because of what they think they know, rather than taking the time to really learn about it. Pretty sad.
