how did you manage to get him/her to drink? my beardies look at the water dish as a place to run through when they have sand stuck to their feet-- hence, getting thewater dirty. they never drink.

A lot of dragons actually drink from water bowls. They learn to drink when they are hatchlings. What I do is I pour the water into the bowl slowly. The water movement gets their attention, and they drink. My adults do it and my hatchlings. Eventually with some dragons you wont have to pour the water in, they will recongnize the bowl as a source for a drink. Hope this helps.
