Homemade Rat Bin 2

I have alsways wondered, how do u make the edges of that little feeding bin at the top soooo smooth and free of bits of wires sticking out?

Thanks for the idea. I have a male rat in a rubbermaid cont. without the lid on, he doesn't care to go anywhere. But now with this type of lid, I can put my young females in and put him in the 10 gal. tank.
