That alligator lizrad is a type of Skink, Isn't it.

No, alligator lizards are in the family Anguidae while skinks are in the family Scincidae. If you look closely you will see that the sides of alligator lizards are covered in fine scales these dorsolateral folds are the diagnostic feature of the family.

i use to catch these guys in my backyard all the time. never knew people kept them as pets. and have colors like that. its cool, keep on keeping on.

Those are beautiful, wish i could get them over here in merry old england, but havent seen them before anywhere which is a shame... but ya never know i might find some one day.

Check the kingsnake lizard classifieds, they occaisionally pop up there during the summer months. There is an introduced population in Nevada and I think this is where the advertised ones are collected.
