I don't believe in ripping wild animals out of perfect habitat for the pet trade. Try turtlehomes.org for captive pet turtles. Also, be more discriminating over what you choose, this turtle has an obvious ear abscess and a cloudy eye. Probably didn't make it through the winter.

If it had of been taken into captivity it would have made it through the winter with good care. Captive keeping and breeding is not the same as the pet trade. It can help to save turtles to keep and breed them. Development and fire ants are doing more damage than captive breeders who produce more turtles. That is not to say we should remove them from good protected well managed habitat.Eric
