Unknown spider approximately 3+" that woke me up one morning.

This would be a male Black Widow(Latrodectus hesperus), I would say at maturity. Nice specimen, would like to breed with one of my females.

i dont think thats a male black widow.... anything in the widow group, unless it was a huge female (3+ inches?...) if it were a male, it would have greatly enlarged pedipalpi... besides... would a male black widow actually grow larger than a female? o_o"

i cant see the pic very cleat, but can you specify if it spins a web or not?

i agree with sigma. if thats a male black widow then its time to hide before the female turns up.

It aint clear but could be a very good specimen of tegenaria....possibly agrestis. If it just woke you up , yu are lucky!

Please lets have more details on this vry interesting spider.

HOLY CRAP!!! I found one of those in my kitchen this morning. Well- which is it??? A black widow(male) or a good ol' wolf spider??

This is no widow spider. Seems to me like some sp. of Lycosidae (wolf spider). A better view of the colors would help to identify it.
