Beautiful coloration! I have never seen one that color:) Its natural for igs to have different colors other than green. one of my igs is now aqua green. :)

Green iguanas from Mexico tend to have orange coloration year round.

Thank you all for the comments. It seems orange is not too odd in the Honduras area and near the Amazon rain forest. I got to admit this guy is stunning. Thanks again~ Lin

Thanks for your comments Mickey, but this guy has apparently been green for at least the last 3 years. I'd say it's his 'real' color.

Okay Mickey, you know it all, apparently more than the 2 vets HE has been to. Like I said before, if you bothered to read up on him. He is stunted. This is definately a HE.

Thank you DC!! He is so sweet too. I read your little bio on the side of your post. So glad to see someone wanting to learn all they can instead of just stopping their knowledge. I am so new at this (lizards) and it is a bit daunting all that there is to learn but rewarding to watch Marley improve and reveal more of his personality. Thanks again!

Very pretty iggy! My iggy is just starting to get a bit of orange coloration. I'm not quite sure Mickey knows what he/she is talking about...he/she has the characteristics of male and female igs completely backwards...I knew he was a he as soon as I saw the pic!
