this gecko was collected in tucson az. I have no idea what it is. it does not look like a tucson banded gecko to me. no yellow on it. It is all white and lite brown. could it be a MORPH!!?? i would like some ladys for him so i need to know what tipe he is. ALL help is aprisheated! thanks.
He could just be a morph of a banded gecko. So maybe you can prove this trait out, by going and buying some normal female banded geckos for him. Treat all the offspring as if they were hets. Breed the female offspring back to him and see if you get any similar to him. You may have a new morph on your hands. JMO.

I had three Banded Geckos from the Phoenix area that looked like that only like you said with more yellow in them. That one is very cool looking. All three were females that did nicely for me and really fattened up. Too bad I dont have them anymore, I live in Az. Good luck that guy

Yeah, that is a really cool gecko. The markings are pretty awesome. However, I do not know if it is a specific morph or not. I may have an answer to what type it is though. Judging by some pictures that I have, it looks very much like a Western Banded Gecko (Coleonyx variegatus). I am not experienced with that type of banded gecko and therefore I cannot tell for sure. I am just telling you to the best of my knowledge, what I think the little fellow is. I hope that helps and once again, nice looking gecko.
