My Sandy Babe

This photo was taken in the winter of 2001. It was a great day that my cocker spaniel Sandy and I spent together. My parents brought him home for me when I was in grade 4. He moved with us to two different houses and saw an endless number of cats come through our door. Unfortunetly he passed away at the ripe old age of 11 this past March. I blame myself, I know I shouldn't but I do. There are so many things that I wish I would have done differently now. Despite all the good times we shared, all I can seem to remember is the bad times that I wish I could change. I spent most of then night before he passed up with him, but his side. I was up until 4am before I finally passed out. I miss my sweetie very much. He was my heart and soul. This picture is above my bed, reminding me of all the fun we had while he was here and how much fun I hope he's having now, wherever he is. This is for you Sandy.
