I was amazed when one of my turts, Kiwi, climbed onto the new basking platform when there was no heat lamp and I was watching right next to the tank! The other turtle, Guava, was looking on nearby. OK, I confess that I did lure them onto the platform with some food earlier. Maybe he wanted to investigate whether there was food again! :-)
The platform is an inverted plastic tray that used to hold misc. household items. I suspended the inverted tray slightly above water using fishing lines. :-)

Very creative. I like it, i like it. But looks a bit confusing as well.
