this is my redears new home..note the basking spot is incomplete, will be finished today, will be alot larger of a spot to bask and also note the duck tape on side...monitoring water level...it had a leaking problem, spent 2 weeks sealing, would seal and sit for 3 days, sealed a second time and let sit for another 3 days, then sealed a 3rd time and let sit for a week so it should be sealed pretty good...i hope haha. also, going to get aquatic plants today for aquarium

is there a fluorescent bulb in there? turtles (especially babies) need one.

yeppers, all my aquariums have a florescent strip light that throws uvb and uva rays on the water side...and on the basking side all my aquariums have the zoo med spot lamps...those are my preferences for a spot lamp cause they throw tighter beams. i have tried others in the past but not only do they not last as long but they actually dont attract the turts as well...they love the zoo med spot lamps.
