Me and a wild Cal King caught in Sunol, CA. This guy was chillin in the shade on a warm summer morning. He gave me a nice musking when I picked him up. :(

Hey I been wanting to find a good place to catch some wild snakes and I live near sunol. Do you find a lot down there? I been there once before but it was years ago.

I've found two cal kings in Sunol. I've gone looking there about 4 times. One was on Calaveras Rd on a warm summer night, and the other was in the picture shown.

I've also seen lots of fence and alligator lizards... and several tule elk!
