Keywords: fiddler crab
This is "Claws," one of our Fiddler Crabs. He's riding high on the turtle decoration in his tank. The crabs were adopted from my daughter's classroom in May, 2003.
He is really cute! I used to keep fiddler crabs but they would always jump out, I learned they need access to air at all times, not sure if you have somthing for them to climb on so they can get up to the air.

Yep, he's up out of the water in this pic. There's about 4 inches of brackish water in the tank (your basic 10 gal. tank), and lots of "perches" and a sandy area. The turtle is the highest point, which is where Claws likes to show off. Very entertaining fellow! :-)
