They might not seem like they can, but they probably can handle earthworms. You could always try mice pinkies.

turn over some logs or rocks in your nearest patch of woods and you should find a whole range of slug and worm sizes.

I'd just release them back into the wild if you don't know how to care for them.

try small crickets. Demon's head's about 2or 3 mm., and he eats them.

I agree with "mrcanada21" If you don't know how to take care of them you shouldn't have them. Also I think you shouldn't keep snakes you find in the wild, It's ok to find them, catch them an then RELEASE THEM!!!

Just feed them small slugs or worms that you can find under logs and other things, and then let them go. i admit i kept 2 WC brown snakes but it was cold and the one was nearly frozen. shure i'm just trying to justify it but they are happy and healthy. anyway i like the look of the grey one. good luck

Hey the larger brown snake is a brown snake the smaller one is a red bellied snake. The brown snake should feed great on worms.

i have a small redbelly and it gorges itself on worrms a nd samll slugs. If you have a small snake, there's always something smaller it can feed on. The Storerias have very fine teeth to grasp the slimly slugs. They'll even rip a snails head off for a quick meal.

I agree with some of you, release them and go buy a book about something you can buy captive bred and care for properly. Even if it's another redbelly, you'll be more knowledgeable and you'll start of with a pet acustomed to captivity.
