I took this photo last night. There must be about 100 of them on whats left of 4 milkweed plants. Just wondering if they're beneficial or pest, and if they will eat anything other than milkweed, as there's not much left!

They are Milkweed Tiger Moths also called a Harlequin Caterpillar. Milkweed foliage is their main food as I understand, but they do eat various other weeds.
