I hate to dissapoimt you, but this really doesn't look like a ringer to me. It looks more like an old scar to me. But it could be something interesting also. Do you have more pics of this animal?

actually chris, if you looked closer you can see that there are scales on the white spot, so i would say that it is a ringer and not a scar.

Thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben,
To my opinion Ringers always have a symetrical white spot bordered by orange just a few centimeters from their cloaca. The White also is always present on the belly. It is also in almost all cases triangle shaped. I am sure that this animal is not a ringer, sorry. We could ask someone who really knows. By the way I own a few Ringers myself and have 30 years of experience in snake keeping.

Awsome looking bp. It may not be a ringer, but it is definetly NOT a scar. My snakes that have scars look way different than that. Like benny said, you could see the scales, so it isn't a scar. Whether a ringer or not, great snake.

That is a scar. Actually all snakes are white under their skin. That is the snake missing a good chunk of their skin..ouch

I also say that it looks like a scar. We have a big male that has a scar that looks just like that. His was from a burn. Ringers seem to have orangish colors around the white.

To all those who claim this Ringer Ball has a "Scar" obviously didn't enlarge the pic, the white patch has scales visable when enlarged, and as far as the orange wash, this is an adult and the orange wash fades and goes away just like piebalds. There are many different kinds of ringers, bulleyes rngers, ringers that creep up the sides, ect.ect.... I own several in my collection and that is not a scar, its a type of ringer.
