They eat rabbits! I was going to ask my mom to let me get one (yes, I am 15, not just a loser at home) but that must costa fortune to feed her! She is so cool though and so pretty!

Actually, its not all that expensive. I get the rabbits from RodentPro and they are $7 each....so $7 every two weeks.

Oh, well that is not too bad. I don't think my mom would be very happy if one day her persian cat went "missing" that could be a problem. Does an adult Ball Python eat rabbits?

Awsome snake.
No, a bp will never need rabbits. The most you'll need are big rats.

Im assuming that was a joke about the persian cat. Burms dont eat cats or such if they are used to regular food items, rats and bunnies.

codeykat, Burms are asome snakes but there not really good for begginers...
You need to remmeber they need at least a 4 foot wide by 8 foot long encloser when they are full grown,,, deppending on the size of caorse plus when they reach around 8 feet you shouldn't haddle it alone.... But they are amazing snakes, but something like a ball would be better at first....Good luck tho!!!!

thejim-
Burms don't need a cage atleast 8by4. Unless it is a giant, you'll only need something about 6by3, like the vision 632.

Really??, U need something long enough for the snake to strech out in.....How many adult burms do u know of that are 6 feet, yeah not many, or none...

Her current cage is actually pictured behind me in the pic. It is 8x2x2. She is quickly outgrowing it. For a full grown female you will need 8x4. A male should be fine with 6x3 though.

Thanks for the tips thejim, I had a bp a year ago, but I was stupid enough to buy a farm raised one (I didn't know the difference then) and it wouldn't eat! So I gave it to an expert who could take care of it and get it to eat, so it didn't die. So I will be getting another ball python! Thanks again!

wow amazing python! how old is she? i was just going to say that as long as you handle your python every day and let it strech out the vaverium can be half the size of the snake!
