Keywords: American Alligator Stock Tank Island Bucket Filter

This is the pond for my baby American Alligator (I just updated it, and deleted the picture of the old set-up because this one is so much better)... He is 8 months old and about 2 ft long...
This is an 8ft in diameter stock tank, 3 ft deep, with a DIY 5 gallon bucket biofilter...
Once he outgrows this setup, I will dig it into the ground and use it only as the water part and he will have to get out for the land part... And I just bought a new house so, as soon as I move in, I'll probably get this done...

Thanks to all for your comments...
It was not that expensive, considering that I bought the "pond" used... The brand new price of this "pond" is around $250. It is actually a stock tank that they sell at grain and feed stores, and any other store specialiced for cattle and such. The reason why I like it so much is because it can be set up above ground without having to build, modify anything. It is constructed strong enough to just sit on the ground full of water (or whatever) without the need for any support from a frame or dirt around it.
I only paid $50 for it, and I found it on the classiffieds page of my newspaper.
The filter is a homemade 5 gallon bucket filter that cost me about $5 to build, and the only "expensive" part was the pump, which cost me another $30 online.
I hope this helps... If anyone has any more questions, please feel free to ask...
