You've probably figured it out by now, having posted this in August, but what the hey! I'm new to frogs, but I've done a LOT of reading since my son found some this summer. We have 2 Northern Chorus frogs that look similar, but we're in Michigan. Seems I saw pics of Western Chorus frogs that were really similar to ours. Hard to tell for sure w/out a view of its back. Very cute, no matter what they are!

That is a pacific treefrog.I had some once that I found as tadpoles in a drying puddle. These little guys are easy to care for , but if it was wild I would let it go(preferably near a pond)

Oh,I forgot to tell you that they're arboreal and if you plan on keeping them I suggest a tall terrarium with plants and lots of things to climb on.Their fine at a temperature of 70-75F.They dont require complex lighting either. You should also have a water bowl andin the tank.Spray the tank once a day with dechlorinated water. These little guys only reach about 1-2 inches , so small , vitamin dusted crickets are a good food source. For my treefrogs I use ground coconut fiber (Bed-a-beast is a good brand)as a substrate.Oh,and one more thing, make sure you have a good secure mesh lid for your tank.Good luck ;)
