It is better than the old setup, but your basking spot needs to be big enough for both turtles to be on it at the same time. Also enough of the basking area needs to be dry on top so that the turtles can get dry underneath so they don't get shell rot on their bottom shell.

yo i love the pic...im thinkin of makin a setup like urs...anyways what do the green tubes do...just tell me a couple of things uve done with this so i get an idea how to make something as nice as yours

Well, It's really a simple setup. The green tubes are connected to external filter, that sits on the floor (ASTRO 1000 l/h). The rocks are some that I gathered from the beach. Washed them well, and created a slope so the turtles can easily climb ontop and bask. I think they like it, they always hang around there! If you want, you can add plastic plants between those rocks, to make it look nicer. Hope that helped, let me know how urs came out!

What are you going to do when these turtles get really big? Any females will need access to dirt when mature so they can lay eggs. They lay eggs whether they've been with a male or not.
