It makes me ill to think people can do stuff like this.

I'm continually amazed at the stupidity or lack of care some humans have concerning other living things! I hate to think of how many years of abuse this turtle lived through. Thank goodness it will now get the care it needs.

I am so glad that the box turtle is now in good hands. People who do things like this should be sevrly punished instead of just a slap on the wrist if at all. I wish I could save them all.........reptiles of course

i personally love boxies and this upsets me.to think a poor (almost) defenseless creature could be abused and neglected to this point whoever owned this turtle should be give more than a slap on the shoulder and a dont do it again they should be charged with normal abuse charges. this brings a tear to my eye.

Beak is over grown. I suggest taking to a vet to get it dremmeled down.
Unfortunatly this little fella did have to be euthanized. He was beyond help at the special home we sent him to.
