Why would someone need to hyperhydrate prey before feeding?

Its all personal preference. I used to do this (still do rarely)just to ensure my boas are gettin some liquid. I understand they will drink if they are thirsty, but injecting your feeders with some liquid does not hurt. For the most part your animals will get all the vitamins they need from your feeders, but i used to also dilute calcium or whatever vitamins i was giving my snakes inside the watter, then inject it into the feeder. all in all you do NOT have to hydrate your feeders
