mine were never nice i hated it when i had to chase them round the house cause they got loose thier mean with nasty bites but are stuff very impressive

LOL wow..this is an OLD pic,,the tokay there is tame i just made him open his mouth for the pic, i've had him since he was 3 inches long he's now 14 1/2 inches long and wouldnt hurt a fly

Mine seems to open its mouth a lot but never bites. I can stick my finger in its open mouth and it won't clamp down (don't ask me why I tested it in the first place). Its 6" now and I'm hoping it'll become less skittish as time goes on. How often did you handle to tame it?
