Nope, it's not a bull snake. That's a normal corn snake. Elaphe gutatta gutatta. Note the saddlebag markings. A little one, too.

hmm thats strange, i took it with the biologist in a herpetarium and he told me it was a bull snake

Corns (most remotly natural phases atleast) generally have spearhead type marking on the head which can be used to distinguish them from most other species. Some other native snakes (Eastern Milk, Great Plains Rat) also share this marking though.

Looks exactly like a Pacific Gopher that we caught a few months ago. They have great personalities, but are known for regurgitating a lot :(
