Oooooh, I love your boa, it looks a lot like mine. Can you tell me how old he is and how big he is? Mines about 5 foot long already and he's only about 18 months old. I love how he has that pole thing to climb on, does he use it, and did you build the enclosure yourself?
I might have to copy your enclosure when I build my boa's next one. He's in a 5 foot one atm but I reckon at the rate he's growing that he'll need a new one some time next year.

Thanks for the comment well lets see. ive had buffy for about 1 half years and he's at a ruff guess about 5 1/2 to 6ft. as for the viv i bought that at a local herp shop and modded it my self its good what you can do with a curtain pole. and yep he does use it but only when hes hungry. one thing with boas is plan ahead because the grow rate can take people by storm so you should be planing ahead in its new viv
p.s the viv size is 4x2x2 ft

Are boas known for being nasty or calm snakes? I have had a ball python for 5 years and i would like to maybe get a boa.. Will I be able to keep a boa in the cage that i have setup for the ball python?? would a boa out grow my cage??? thanks...

ur snake aint as big as my snake! mines 50ft long and 7ft thick, so beat that limey! urs is a worm compared 2 mine it will eat you alive(>,,
