I think that dudes name should be major_homo, not mojo_homo.. anyways, those are nice looking balls.
This isn't my pic but I just wanted to ask you guys a question. I have a female wild caught ball python thats around 3-4 years old. She is right around 3 feet long. I'm having troubles getting her to eat now, it's been about 6 months since she last ate, and that was 2 live hamsters that she regurged 3 days later. I've tried to get her to eat some thawed rats (can't buy them live here in Alberta) and she's not interested at all. I've also tried giving her some live mice but she's also not interested (she was doing the same thing before the hamsters, i think she's just not interested anymore because they're so small). I'm starting to worry now.. I was thinking about force feeding her, but i've never seen it done and i'm nervous to try it on my own.. Any suggestions??

I lived in alberta most of my life! I lived in red deer area. what is your email? I dont think stores are aloud to sell live rats because alberta doesnt have a wild population of rats and it would devistate haycrops if there were! email me some more info on your snakes set up and maybe I can help you.

I've had a girl at a petstore suggest puncturing the brain or the abdomen of the rat, or dipping it in egg yolk before I try and feed, or completely turning out all lights when I put the rat in...
Any comments on this?

rbirch,
dont use eggs, just try punching a hole in the head and squeeze out some brain, if you do it with the stomach ull end up with a big mess.
