No dought that is a big snake but i think the camra angle is what is makeing it look sooooo insanely big. Nice find.

lol thats is a nice size snake but the guy is doing the "giant fish" camera shot. he is holding it out in front of him a great distance 5-6 feet maybe more makeing it look really big. it is a large snake but we could see the real size if the snake was next to something like a ruler or dollar to show the size. i bring photographers on walks in the pine barrens to take shots of herps so i know most of the tricks.

I sure hope his arms aren't five or six feet long...cause that's how long they'd have to be to hold it that far away from his body!

Look how big the body is on the hook.... I to would love to hear more about one of my favorite snakes. I just missed one that big two years ago in a cypress swamp here in Mississippi. Great photo, Great snake Bro.

Thanks guys! Sorry so late, but I just read all the comments. The snake does look larger in the pic than it was, but yes, it was a hoss. I had the snake on two hooks trying to control it and was still having trouble. It was being held out the length of the hooks (around 3' I would guess). My guess is the cotton was 5'+, but this is only a guess. It was found in a large river swamp in western KY. Thanks all!
