I was looking into doing a half land/half water vivarium and I was wondering where you went to get the piece of fiberglass sealed? A pet store or hardware shop?

The water/land division is not fiberglass, it is a piece of clear glass that I siliconed in place. I had it cut in a glass shop.

In reply to the question above, the water part is 5-6 inches deep. I have a little submersible Fluval filter in it (I had a waterfall at the beginning, but the sound of water was driving my boyfriend crazy...) and also some plants to filter the water. The fishes are in there since last march and I've never had a problem. I really like this viv because it is almost maintenance free. I only have to clean the glasses and rinse the foam in the filter once a month.

Its nice to see anoles wind up in a nice home.So many wind up in bare tanks with a branch or two.

Great tank! Watch the mini palm in the left hand corner, they tend to rot on the leaves in hight humidity, but they will reproduce ( by runners ) if you cut them back, and you will have too in a few weeks, put some toilet paper on the cuttings. That type of palm produces a white " sap " that can be dangerous to anoles if they lap it up.. Great job, rock on, Blue
