Uhh, dude???? THis is not smart, not smart at all. My little bro mixed a Fire bellied toad with a pac man. That lasted about a week and the pac man died a week or so later. Plus, that little albino looking frog could definitely be a pac man's lunch. All I ask is that you think of the frogs. If you can't afford more tanks, don't buy all the different species. I raise mantella's, and I am not even cool with different types of mantella's being mixed, so, just THINK OF THE FROGS!!!!

You guys need to do a better job reading. deLuxBuLLi clearly states that this picture was taken “during the cleaning of there terrariums”. Note the “s” on the end of terrariums, which makes it plural, so deLuxBuLLi has them in DIFFERENT enclosures. I swear, some people are just so eager to bash someone, or write a negative comment about them, they don't even take time to read the post! I hope you all can see how childish all your posts have been on this picture.

That may be true but why hasn't he objected to the fact that they are all in one tank?

If you look, he hasn’t answered any of the posts. He probably did not set an e-mail notice when he posted it, and probably is clueless to the uproar it is causing! Plus, why would they all be in one tank, but then he states in his original post that this picture was taken while cleaning the “terrariumS”! Did you just totally disregard what I mentioned? “O he didn’t deny not keeping them in the same tank... blah blahh blahh, I am ignorant” That’s how you sound! ATTENTION TO DETAIL my fellow herpers, it will save us all some major headache and unneeded stress! Lia, I do not think it would be a good idea to house them together, they are together in this picture because the photographer had them out of their cages"s" while cleaning, and found this to be a good photo opportunity.

Lia...have you even read anything on here??? isnt it a little obvious that mixing species is WRONG, especially this kind of mixing. my rule of thumb for mixing is you must have so may years of experence you dont remember how many, and if you need to ask questions, you dont have enough experence to mix anything. OK? Dont mix species, its cruel to your animals. Dont believe everything you hear on-line, just because some silly kid says that he has has these animals toghter for 5 years, dont make it true, or not inhumane.

If you call me ignorant you just called about everone that has posted on here ignorant. The point is dipshit you cant prove it and yelling at people younger than you behind a monitor must make you fell really big inside, and are you that naive to believe everything you see?

Also nobody seemed to have read the part that says he keeps them in 4 different tanks. I do disagree with his cleaning method (even a few seconds is all it takes for that pacman to pounce on that lemon yellow frog and get poisoned by the FBTs at the same time), but the way I see it, he keeps the 2 FBTs in one tank, the pacman in one, the 3 treefrogs in one, and the newt in one, and he saw a good photo oportunity, so he probly figured "what the hell".

I like this picture, and I don't see why most of you people have to act like such know it alls. MAYBE HE JUST PUT THEM TOGETHER TO TAKE THE PICTURE!
Honestly, it's none of your buisness is it? I beleive we are judging the PICTURE and not the set up of a tank .. which doesn't even appear on the photograph!

WOW... I think everyone happend to say that when you mix a firebelly toad with a pacman the pacman dies... Ok.. lets think about this.. when anything walks in front of a pacman at all it snaps at it... The firebelly toad will only let out it's poison if it feels threatend... so a wild guess would be that the pacman snaped at it, got a mouth full of poison and died... I have a community tank myself... I dont have pacmans in there but I have tree frogs, geckos, firebelly toads, and other stuff and yet to have a problem... If something wasn't healthy wouldn't there be something wrong with them. When animals get stressed they dont stay healthy. All my animals are eating and living just fine... yet to lose an animal in my community tank.. And I know a few other people with basically the same stuff. Everybody always gets so bent out of shape when anybody says they house different species together.. PROBABLY because they heard it from someone else and it just spread like fire... one person to the next... As long as the animals live in the same type of environment and arent something that is going to snap at something else and they dont have a 5 gallon tank to live in... I myself have yet to see a problem and I've been doing it for years and know people that have been doing it longer

Reading through the comments on this pic has sincerely convinced me of the need to stress critical thought and reading comprehension in school. To see this pic and have a reaction of "How could he keep all these different species together in a pasta strainer!!??" is a Rorschach in itself....
