This is home to my tiger salamanders. One female, one male. They have a hide on the left side and a swimming hole of the right. All the plants are real and they have organic soil mixed w/jungle soil.
Great looking set up. Do the lights make it hard to keep the temp low?

No the temps are around 70. So it stays a nice temp for the sali's. The bulbs are very minimal in watts. The spot is 15 and the flor is also 15. Thanks for nice comment. :o)

I just moved to Ga from Fl. I've never seen a salamander down there, but I've seen them everywhere up here. Why is it that they are only in colder weather?
