i would tell your friend to get that baby off the sand and stop useing a white light as albinos are sensitive to brightness

that set up is pretty bad. the person probably doesn't know better, looks like the person at petco had a field day. it needs better hides, moist box, those temp gages are all but useless and the sand is probably not a good idea

no he means pads that are like made for pain reliefs.. their many herpoculturists favourites, because they have 3 heat settings, a LOT cheaper, not adhesive, movable. u can find 1 is drug mart or walmart for 15-25 bucks. their usually 12" by like 15" but they still differ in sizes.

thanks for the information, man...I really didn't know this, I liked the idea and I'm going to see at WalMart, 'cause I'm buiding a "desert terrarium" in a 70 gallon tank and I probably will need a lot of heat coming from the base of the tank.

itll work ull prolly need to use multiple pads cuz of the size of the tank... but yes im sure itll work...
