how does he like that thing? mine could sure use one. i can't see pulling him back on it though if he went somewhere i didn't want him too, wouldn't want to hurt his little skinky neck.

Why do you need a BTS on a leash its not as if it can go anywhere in a hurry. If your taking him for a walk just so you know if you cant be bothered to do it anymore that it is uneeded as cold blooded animals can't keep up prolongued musule activity so dont need much excersise

He seems to really enjoy being outside & is quite cooperative in letting me put it on. It doesn't go around his neck- it's sort of a harness that you put their legs through, then tighten it over the back.
Indy is quite fast! I could lose him in an instant outside or inside! I can't believe how fast & quiet he can run & how well he blends in w/ surrounding weeds & grasses to look invisible. That's nature's camo for you :-)

I also have a leash for my BTS, don't feel alone. Mine to is quick and surprizenly fast even more so when they feel the wide open. It's just reassuring to know that if he did feel the need to explore the unknown he couldn't wonder far without me knowing. The harness can't hurt them unless you drag them around verses let them walk. Exercise is good in my opinion because they need some or they will get fat like mine, lol.
