Here's my rough green snakes tank(He's been upgraded from a ten gallon to a 29 gallon(check gallery for his ten gallon photo,...yuck)).

BUT, this tank is not an updated photo as the other day I added a couple ivy plants to the tank. So I'll show an updated photo later, lol.

Very nice. I read they are very active and love lots of plants. Do you find him/her to be active?

Hey Lia,
Thanks for the comment!

To be honest, my rough green has never shown an active side to him.

When I first bought him, he enjoyed just staying in his asparagus plant, but once moved over to this new cage, he seems to move alot more through all his plants, as like you said he loves!

So, to answer your question... No he's not very active, or not as active as I half expected him to be.

I found my wild caughts to be VERY tame snakes. the one that I had that wasn't was a bit nippy, but the rest were fine. they aren't very active unless outside, even the wc snakes..so try giving him out time if you want. they love the outside time!!

Hey Lia,
Sadly the snake that used that tank died of an infected cloca, theirfore he wasn't very healthy, making him......... not very active.

I have recieved a juvy, rough greeny and he on the other hand is very active!

Thanks Pyro,
Yes, rough greens are unique in that they only eat insects. And tehy can grow up and over 3 feet! They are gorgeous creatures.
