I haven't measured him in awhile but i'd say he's around 5 feet long. I keep him in a 6 sided tall glass aquarium. I think it's time to move him into something a little larger now though.

I bought both the snake and enclosure at the chicago NARBC show 3 years ago. I paid $125 for the snake and the tank was something like $35 if i remember correctly. It has a screen door in the front and one on top as well, very nice enclosure in my opinion. It's just a bit too small at this point.

How large is the cage?
Do JCPs need tall cages or wide is OK?

I can't seem to find my measuring tape but it is about the equivalent of a 30 gallon tank but taller than wide. Jungle carpets prefer taller living quaters so i would say keep them in a arboreal setup with secure limbs for them to climb on. mine is on his chunk of wood 90% of the time and i have a hide box on the ground for him to sleep in or hide in during the day if he prefers. I'll take a pic of the tank tomorrow and post it then for you to see.
