great turtles : ) how old are they and what type of setup do you have them in? i just recently accuired an alligator snapper and its about 3 or 4 months old... mine is in a 20 gallon tank and tank has about 1/4 th of its space filled with water. does this seem like an adequate*spelling* setup? thanx for your time and sorry for the long post

They are about two years old.This tank is
3.5ft.X4ft.X2ft.Alligator snappers like to hide under things and don't move around much. Your set-up should be fine. Good luck with your turtle.

These tanks are made of a hard plastic. They are great in the summer to jump into. I have one [that has never had turtles in it] that I use just for those HOT days.

Are any of these pink alligator snappers for sale? I have always been looking for a "leucistic" alligator snapper, but have never seen one for sale. Are you a breeder andif so, how hard is it to produce these color phases?
