Yes it probably could rip you apart, as could most dogs, but wolves wont attack a human unless they are extremely afraid or sick.

I have a Malamute too. We breed them. We have a 80 pound male and 2 100 pound feamles. And none of them are a year yet!

Reptile_gal, I don't know anything about breeding but I do know my malamute. Shouldn't they be at the very least one year old before breeding? My baby is a year and a half and still growing and developing. I would think breeding too yound could have substantially negative effects on the dog and the puppies.

oh no no no......we dont breed them yet. we wait till they're about 2 years old to 3 years old. we just breed them, both of them had a litter of 7 and our female now weighs, 110, and our male weighs, 115. they r big babies!! well, thanx for ur consern. i love that wolf!!
