How did you come to have him? I thought collecting wildlife, especially endangered species, is strictly prohibited by law.

A fennec fox is an exotic and they are not endangered. Having a wild animal and an exotic is totally different.

Wow.. So beautiful! I want one more than any other animal right now. How does it do (according to your friend) as a pet?

My friend got this animal from a private zoo that breeds a select few each year. In michigan you do not need a permit to keep exotic animals unless you are going to breed them. His name is radar by the way. And he acts like a cat, dog, and a ferret all wrapped in to one little critter. These little guys are full of energy and spunk. And they are a hand full. They can be skittish and shy too . But as you can see it didnt have a problem taking a nap in my hands:)
