A couple weeks after we bought him we went to the vet. He is a male. And the last few years have been a hard road. We found out that he was wild caught and have not stepped back into that pet shop again. We have spent tons of time and money at the vet trying to get him healthy and keep him that way. He goes through spells where he doesn't want to eat, and we have to force feed him. When he does decide to eat he only wants small black mice (practically impossible to find). Any suggestions. Also we love his color. It is almost like a burgundy, except he doesn't have the red just the lighter colored tan. If anyone knows where we can find more babies this color please let us know.
