Do you sell these easterns with the orange pigment? I live in Virginia, and have owned many easterns. All were strictly black and white. I love the orange.. and am very interested... Let me know, my email is wizill@hotmail.com

Hey WiZill,

Yes, I do sell my orange GA easterns. Unfortunately, I am totally sold this year. I should have the orangest ones yet available next spring, as I am cycling my best young females for breeding. contact me in the spring to get on a list if you're interested. Thanks!

Hi Will:

I love those chain kings of yours! First, I'd like to know if you will have any for sale in '04. I would love to purchase some of your "extreme wide band" chains like your Echols/Tift Cty. shown on the Eastern King Resource site. Let me know if that is a possiblity. I also was currious on the origin of it (two wild caughts from those bred together?). I also am interested in the red chain kings and their origin (wild caught or bred for this color?). Do the red chain kings lose the coloring as they grow and turn out somewhat normal or do they retain the red? I appreciate your time and look forward to your reply Will.

Sincerely,

Scott

Hi Scott,

I should have a very good selection of S. GA Easterns in '04. Besides my original pair, which were the offspring of the animals collected by Kevin Enge from Tifton GA(female)and Statenville GA (male), I plan to breed some of their holdback offspring together, see the other GA pics for the F2s.

Easterns from the southern part of the range usually have trace amounts of orange, however my F1 original breeders were very orange as babies. They have faded with age, although they both still have an orange wash to them. The F2's that I have kept have retained a significant amount of orange color. The F3's should be pretty colorful. Keep in touch if you are interested in babies in '04. Thanks for your interest.

Hi,

I honestly have no idea on pricing yet. I really won't know until I see what hatches. Keep in touch. It should be sometime in May, hopefully! Take care.

Hi PJ,

Your on the list. I'll let you know how things are going when the kids get out of the "big chill" and start eating.
