This spider in on my carport. I live in Northwest Florida in Pensacola. The spider is emerald green with orange markings similar to that of a widow but not the full hourglass shape. It has white stripes on its back as well which is throwing me off. Any suggestions?

Hi Bill - I have two spiders where I live in Myrtle Beach, SC just like this beautiful photo!!! I've named them Mr Man and Miss Priss - they have intertwined webs outside on my patio overhang. I want to know what these spiders are. I love their intricate markings - anybody know where they came from? Thanks -

This actually looks a lot like an orchard spider to me...I don't know about the green tho...the markings are slightly different as well. What kind of web does it have?
